Deck idea: Original Amaranth Graham Crackers

Hi folks!

This is a deck idea inspired by my previous post. I haven't given it much thought. I was bored. Indeed.

  1. Archon would be a good inclusion.

  2. I want to keep it at 66, so what to swap for it?

  3. I'd switch one of the copies of Ventrue Justicar for another Ventrue HQ. They're both uniques that give you 3 votes, I don't see a lot of reason to run three copies of one and one of the other.

Overall, this seems pretty light on payload. That's a traditional problem of bruise decks: they give their prey a choice to block or not to block, so they need both "block" and "no block" options to be bad. A swing towards either perpetual threats (Camera Phone, Political Ally) or threats that aren't played until after your prey chooses whether to block (Conditioning) might help.

I'd drop two of the Obfuscate masters and trade the Hunting Ground for Heidelberg. I'd also rather play Blood Doll or Grooming the Protege in here than Vessel - Vessel is too slow, and your guys aren't big enough for you to pull a lot of blood back. Given that shift in your master makeup, Wash may be a better choice than Pentex, which I assume is just in here to contest anyway...

  4. Thanks for the hints. You are wrong in one aspect finbury: Pentex is in there because it is not optional. Every deck needs at least 1 Pentex. I am not even leaving my house without a Pentex in my pocket.
