Killer Combo?

Hi folks!

This seems very very promising:

A 6 stealth action together with Call of the Hungry dead is something that won't get blocked. With Perfectionist the cost of Blood of Sandman is definitely worth the price. It is quite easy to tap out vampires with master cards, should they be untapped. Eze with Kduva's Mask and Narrow Minds is a strong combo on its own. However Blood of Sandman can help you with that last bleed you need for the oust.

  1. Too easily foiled, imho

It is enough that the target untaps during blood of the sandman action (like with Sense the Savage way, 2nd tradition, or whatever...) for it to fizzle out, as the target is not legal when it comes to resolution.

I had the similar idea (not with Eze, though), but in metas that are fulled to the brim with animalism and princes, it does not work so good

  2. @Pendragon: Can the targeted vampire play Sense the Savage or Second Tradition at all? I don't think so (at least not to untap)!

  3. Yes they can, because the Blood of Sandman is not yet on the target. And when they do, they are no longer tapped and the action fizzles.

  4. Ah, my bad. I was thinking about the point after the Blood of the Sandman is already in play, wheras Pendragon and you were talking about the putting Blood of Sandman into play .. in that case, of course, you're right!

  5. I'm very happy that you are experimenting with Eze, he always looked very promising, but unused. It's very challenging to get him to work :-)

  6. @Szabolcs: Eze is a vampire you could build 4+ decks around easily. My current version is very promising indeed. With a better card draws I could have won all 3 preliminary rounds in Kecskemét. This deck is very versatile, but also people are not afraid of it that much. You can keep yourself in the role of the underdog. On every table I played there was at least one other deck that people were more afraid of.
