Here are the results of my latest poll. As you can see most of the people aren't happy with Group 6. I think that there are many flaws in the latest Bloodline set, since many Group 5-6 clans are basically unplayable or at least a zillion times weaker than the group 4-5 crypt of the respective clan.
The latest poll was about doubling uniques. I have to admit that I could have chosen the questions more carefully. However we have a result and here it is:
No, I never double uniques.
4 (6%)
Only those the deck is built around (like Soul Gem)
39 (61%)
I double almost all really good ones!
20 (31%)
Altogether 63 votes were cast. The result clearly states that people tend to double (or triple, etc.) uniques. The advantage is that you have a higher chance to draw the card early on. The price you pay is that you will draw totally useless cards during the game since you can't play another copy of a unique card you already have in play.
Currently I have an Akunanse deck which features 2 copies of the Rack, since the Akunanse Hunting Ground is pretty crap and blood support is crucial to a wall deck. Also my Brujah Alastor deck featured 2 copies of New Carthage in a 78 card deck. So I am happy that I am not the only player doubling his uniques.
Here is the result of the lates poll, regarding your opinion on bleed bounce. Eighty votes were cast:
I never play without them!
7 (8%)
Essential in every tournament deck.
17 (21%)
Very good, but not essential.
55 (68%)
Totally overrated!
1 (1%)
It's no surprise that the vast majority of the people think that bleed bounce is very good. I am happy that only 21% think that bounce is esssential in every tournament deck. I was afraid that number would be higher. To those 8% who never play without them: give some decks a try that don't use bounce and see how good the can work!
Here is the result for the latest poll (47 votes were cast):
Mono Discipline
3 (6%)
Common Disciplines (more than 1)
7 (14%)
All Big Cap
2 (4%)
Mono Clan
23 (48%)
Star Vampire with weenie support
5 (10%)
Mixture of different disciplines
7 (14%)
Mono Clan turned out to be the most popular, which didn't surprise me. I like to play mono clan decks, too. I am little disappointed by the fact that big caps are so unpopular. Might this be because of Pentex Subversion?
After the Grand Masquerade everything will go back to normal!
36 (45%)
Though 36 out of totally 80 votes were cast saying that v:tes life will be back to normal after the Grand Masquerade, the majority of the people (55%!!!) were more pessimistic. Rumors I heard actually say that CCP is not going to keep v:tes alive since they don't want to do anything paper related. I don't want to name my source(es) so don't ask for it. Let's hope the rumors turn out to be a false alarm!!!
The poll is closed, here is the result. 39 votes have been cast in the poll.
It is ugly as hell! 3 (7%)
Try again kiddo! 3 (7%)
I've seen worse... 23 (58%)
I like it! 5 (12%)
Well done! 5 (12%)
You rock!!! 0 (0%)
I was hoping for a better result. Since most people don't like it, please add your comment, what kind of design you prefer. However, I might keep this one. I don't like any background pictures so that's not an option.
It's been a long time since my last post. After the ECQ in Burton-on-Trent our flight got cancelled due to the ash cloud. I had a pretty long trip back home including three different trains, which got delayed due to the flood in Poland. I will write a brief tournament report later.
For now, let's see the poll result. Altogether 113 votes have been cast:
Ally
8 (7%)
Bleed
13 (11%)
Rush
7 (6%)
Toolbox
36 (31%)
Vote
25 (22%)
Wall
24 (21%)
As you can see ally and rush based decks are the least popular. Oddly enough I see much more rush decks played than this poll would "allow". Not to surprisingly the most popular deck type is the toolbox. It is also my favourite one, because of the many options in it. Wall and Vote decks are popular, too. I guess the reason may be, that those decks can be very stable. Bleed decks are less popular, maybe because they are just boring to play?
I didn't write here anything for a long time, sorry for that. The poll is closed and altogether 25 votes were cast. 16 people (64%) will accept a challenge while 9 (36%) people refused the idea. So far I received only 1 e-mail. If you forgot what the challenge is click here!
The fist poll on HUN FRAGMENT is closed. On this poll 83 votes where cast. The result:
It's way too small It's hard to get 5 players for a game. 21 (25%)
More players would be cool. 48 (57%)
It's just the perfect amount of players. 12 (14%)
Hell! There are too many players!!! 2 (2%)
The majority of the players (57%) would like to see more people playing the game. As expected some people find it hard to get 5 players together for a game, however 25% seems like a lot to me. Let's hope they will be able to expand their playgroup. Only 14% think that they just have the right amount of players. I think the 2 votes on "Hell! There are too many players!!!" can be taken as a joke. Should they be serious they could just move to the places where they need a fifth player. :)
